ULearn 2012, to be held at Sky City 9-12 October, is shaping up to be the biggest and best professional learning experience to happen in New Zealand this year. With spaces filling fast, educators are urged to book now to avoid disappointment.

“We have a maximum allowance of 1390 delegates and under 200 spaces left,” says CORE Education’s Event Coordinator, Sherry Chrisp. “With more than 2 months to go we want to let teachers and principals know now that they need to book or we simply won’t be able to accommodate them, ”she says.

Every year ULearn provides an unrivalled professional learning and development opportunity for educators from around New Zealand. An action packed programme over three days offers pre-conference workshops, over 300 choices in breakout sessions and of course, the chance to network and share successes with hundreds of colleagues from across the education spectrum.

Keynote speakers at ULearn 2012 are:

Professor emeritus, speaker, writer, teacher and cyber researcher, Jason Ohler. From Australia, film director, screenwriter and teacher Khoa Do, and Glenn Capelli, author, songwriter, radio and television presenter and creator of the Dynamic Thinking course for Leadership, and from the USA, Kevin Honeycutt, Technology Integration Specialist at ESSDACK, an educational service center based in Hutchinson, Kansas.
