CORE Education, along with Chrometoaster, will be supporting Lift Education as it takes over from Learning Media, publishers of the School Journal book series that is used as a teaching aid in local primary schools. Proud to be part of the continuing publication of the iconic school journals, CORE aims to maintain the “authentic Kiwi voice” Ms Hekia Parata, Minister of Education, deems essential to the service. "CORE Education has a very strong understanding of the work needed, has the capacity to carry it forward, and the commitment to both English and Māori medium. It has a clearly defined quality assurance framework and is already thinking how they can further improve the service."
CORE will be the supplier for four new projects:
Chrometoaster will provide technical support and design to the TKI website.
Lift Education, who already partner with CORE to provide Literacy2You, is the supplier for the Ready to Read and School Journal suite. CORE will be working with Lift Education to research and write two reports to inform the digital future of these publications.
Many skilled Learning Media staff have been retained within the sector, some of whom will join the team at CORE Education.
