Personal statement

My zest for education and life-long learning stems from my international education in my early years. I was born in the United States but spent 5 years in Aotearoa and 3 months traveling the world with my family as a child. I am passionate about enriching education through culture and language. Now back in Aotearoa, I am excited to work with an organisation that celebrates diversity and fosters creativity and connectedness in education.

Outside of work, I enjoy everything outdoors - skiing, running, biking and surfing. I am passionate about envrionmental sustainability and strive to live without waste.
