Tuhi hails from the north (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Whātua), and brings with him an incredible depth and breadth of professional and relationship skills. He has a solid background in International financial services, and more recently, in iwi development, education, tourism, and property.
Tuhi has over 12 years' people-management and leadership experience across corporate, Iwi, and and not-for-profit sectors. He has significant experience developing and implementing strategy across a number of organisations; great commercial acumen; a keen eye for business and innovation opportunities, and strong bicultural relationship management and leadership skills. Tuhi is currently undertaking a Masters of Quality Systems and has a strong professional background in both governance, project and programme methodologies.
He also holds Board roles on a couple of not for profit organisations.
In his Kaitiaki role, Tuhi is genuinely excited about the opportunities ahead and is passionate about growing the talent and potential of both CORE whānau and the organisation.
Outside of work Tuhi loves time with his wife and four children.
