CORE Education is a forward-thinking and values driven organisation.  We are seeking a Corporate Services Champion to join our Senior Leadership Team.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a distributed leadership model, and to positively impact the lives of Māori learners and their communities and future generations of New Zealanders by continuing to push the boundaries of education. 

CORE needs someone who will ensure financial growth and sustainability for the organisation, provide  oversight of financial and organisational performance that is aligned with our strategy, work with Ngā Kaitiaki (the Executive Team) to identify new business opportunities and lead all corporate service functions nationwide across CORE.

So - if you’ve got exceptional financial and commercial acumen, an innovative spirit, and a desire to be part of making a positive difference, we want to hear from you.  Naturally, you'll need to be an all-round financial heavyweight and ensure consistent and robust financial management across the board - you've been there and done it!

Some key areas of responsibilities, experience and qualifications will include:

• Strategic commercial financial expertise and skills in financial forecasting and modelling.
• Working with Ngā Kaitiaki (the Executive Team) to determine the overall direction and financial sustainability of the organisation.
• Oversight of financial and organisational performance, service operations performance, quality business process and outcomes that drives business improvement and innovation.
• Leading the development of CORE’s Safety and Wellbeing culture.
• Thinking and supporting managers to dream big, deliver bigger.
• Minimum 5 years experience in leading and managing corporate service / operational functions.
• Senior qualified chartered accountant experience and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or Commerce.
