  • Te mārama ki ngā pūtoi ako whaitake mō te reo matatini me ngā tikanga ā-akomanga
  • Hangarau Matihiko: Ko te painga atu mehemea he nanakia te matatau ki te Hangarau Matihiko

Me matatau ngā whakaihuwaka ki te tuhituhi me te kōrero i te reo Māori me te reo Pākehā. Ko te rahinga o ngā mahi ngaio o ēnei tūnga he mea taunaki e te pūtea tautoko a Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga. Kei te āhua o ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako o te tokorua nei te wāteatanga o ētahi atu āhuatanga ā-mahi.

Location: One in Auckland, and one in any of the Wellington region, Manawatū or Taranaki regions
Hours:

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Term: Fixed term till  31 December 2020

CORE Education Tātai Aho Rau has two positions available for agile, collaborative people with demonstrated facilitation skills and experience in working in Māori medium kura in the following:

  • Te Marautanga o Aotearoa: Development of marau ā-kura, curriculum design, planning and aromatawai practices
  • Aromatawai capability: Analysis of different kinds of data,  supporting kaiako to collate evidence
  • Understanding effective literacy pedagogy and classroom practice
  • Hangarau Matihiko: Strong capability in Hangarau Matihiko (highly desirable)

The successful applicant must be highly proficient in te reo Māori and articulate in English, in both writing and conversation.  This role will be primarily working in Ministry of Education funded PLD.  Depending on skills and experience other opportunities may also be available.
