Office Administrator

An opportunity has opened for a proactive, reliable and independent individual for the role of Office Administrator to join our busy administration team at CORE Education (CORE).

Duties will include: Providing manaakitanga (hospitality) and professional, effective administration support for CORE ki te Raki (CORE’s northern region), including office reception and management, and general administration support to a professional standard.

All of this will require regular liaison with colleagues and clients at all levels both internally and externally; so good interpersonal and communication skills, and a confident telephone manner are essential, as is a flexible approach to work.

Candidate requirements

The right person for this role will have a minimum of three years experience in a relevant administration position.  A good knowledge of the English language, strong written communication skills, and a good telephone manner are all essential.

The role requires someone who demonstrates initiative, discretion and has a proactive attitude. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, setting up systems and possess strong administrative skills. A demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to work both individually and in a team are critical. Experience or knowledge with Māori/Pasifika would be an advantage.
