About the NZ Deep Learning Lab

Featuring a variety of NZ and global presenters, during this two-day conference participants will explore:

  • What is deep learning?
  • Understand the NPDL programme
  • Design and measure deep learning tasks
  • Discover stories of impact from NPDL

Whether you are an educator looking to improve your teaching practice, part of an established Community of Learning, or a school in the process of forming a Community of Learning, NZ DLL 2018 is an excellent opportunity to learn from and collaborate with global experts to investigate and evaluate ways in which we can improve our teaching practice and outcomes for learners.

NZDLL is open to NPDL members and non-members.

What is NPDL?

The New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL) project is a global programme of professional learning, run in collaboration with Michael Fullan and Associates. As a global network of schools working together, NPDL members collaborate, utilising an extensive range of tools and resources which support the building of knowledge and practices to develop deep learning and foster whole system change.
