The Educators’ Wellbeing Toolkit is designed to help schools to lay the foundations for a professional climate which is conducive to the optimal health and wellbeing of all staff members. To that end, it delivers practical tools and approaches that assist participants to develop greater awareness of their own wellbeing and to build practical strategies to support them on their professional journey.
The two key aims of the programme are:
To enable all staff to take a proactive approach to their own health and wellbeing and develop the mindsets and behaviours which will support them through challenging times.
To provide professional communities with a framework to more effectively support each other’s health and wellbeing and build social capital.
The Wellbeing Toolkit does not set out to provide clinical or remedial support. Importantly, the programme will reference a range of support services where teachers and schools seek or require specific and in-depth interventions. Those who identify that they may require additional support, or want to engage in a deeper developmental process, will be provided details of appropriate services.
