The Educators’ Wellbeing Toolkit enables all members of staff to take a proactive approach to their own health and wellbeing by learning how to develop mindsets and behaviours to support themselves through challenging situations. Practical approaches assist participants to develop greater awareness of their own wellbeing and build strategies to support them in all aspects of their lives.
The two key aims of the programme are:
To enable all staff to take a proactive approach to their own health and wellbeing and develop the mindsets and behaviours which will support them through challenging times.
To provide professional communities with a framework to more effectively support each other’s health and wellbeing and build social capital.
The Wellbeing Toolkit does not set out to provide clinical or remedial support. Importantly, the programme will reference a range of support services where teachers and schools/centres seek or require specific and in-depth interventions. Those who identify that they may require additional support, or want to engage in a deeper developmental process, will be provided details of appropriate services.
