Congratulations to the Māori Grant recipients for 2018

Te Pā Harakeke o Te Awahou Kura Kōhungahunga
CORE has awarded financial support for digital technology equipment to support tamariki in hangarau matihiko.
Brockville Primary School
CORE has awarded professional support for kaiako with the Hangarau Matihiko curriculum to enhance the technological skills and knowledge of our tamariki.
George Street Normal School
CORE has awarded financial support for Māori Literature resources.
Manawatu Horowhenua Māori Teachers Inc. Soc.
CORE has awarded financial support for professional learning support opportunities and event organisation support.
Puketapu School have been awarded funding to support their EOTC - Ngā Tapuwae - mapping the footsteps of our Tipuna in the Puketapu rohe. Students along with local kaumatua will curate and map their cultural narratives in the Puketapu roha through video and Google Maps.
Aka Aka School
Aka Aka School have been awarded funding for their students to have access to the materials and devices needed to support their learning in STEAM education. This will support students levels of engagement and enjoyment of learning increase and their achievement outcomes improve across the curriculum.
Te Ara Whānui Kura Kaupapa Māori o ngā Kōhanga Reo o Te Awakairangi
Support for the creation and installation of a Māra Puoro (sound garden), a collection of outdoor musical instruments at Te Ara Whānui Kura Kaupapa Māori o ngā Kōhanga Reo o Te Awa Kairangi.
