CORE Digital is a video production house based in Wellington. We are a self-funding business unit — the digital media production arm of CORE Education.
CORE Digital began as a startup video production business, developed specifically for the purpose of producing high quality video for Ministry of Education websites and for CORE's professional learning and development purposes. The CORE Digital team is managed by Jedd Bartlett, and was developed in 2008 around the expertise and digital media production specialism that already existed at CORE.
In the eight years that we have been producing digital media, we have filmed seminars and workshops, recorded presentations by school and business leaders, interviewed academics and researchers, liaised with Ministry of Education representatives, and filmed iwi, whānau and Pacific Island communities in school settings and local communities all around New Zealand.
Since startup in 2008 CORE Digital has produced over 2,000 video clips using quality, cost-efficient and highly professional processes. The team has shown an ability to work with a diverse range of talent, including trades people, scientists, kaumatua, university and polytechnic lecturers, actors, nurses, medical specialists, industry trainers, a range of community members, parents, politicians and children of all ages.
CORE Digital is based in CORE Education’s Wellington offices in Thorndon Quay. We also contract production and post-production crew across New Zealand when required, on a project-by-project basis. We draw on CORE Education's extensive experience in sub-contracting, staff recruitment and appointment processes when additional expertise of any kind is required.
One of our projects is EDtalks - over 700 videos available to all educators. These feature inspirational thought leaders and educators talking about how they make a difference with their teaching practice, and have proven to be a popular and powerful resource for professional learning and development.
