CORE Education is proud to sign up as a Partner of the New Zealand Computer Society’s ICT Connect Programme.
This in-schools project will see hundreds of IT professionals around New Zealand visit schools and talk to students about future options in the IT sector. The project is designed to change young students’ perception of IT as a sector, and what the future in ICT will mean to them.
This project also aims to connect teachers with local industry professionals who will provide the support they require to teach software and IT.
As one of the leading e-learning educational development organisations in New Zealand, this project was particularly important to the team at CORE Education.
“The development of the role of ICT in the New Zealand education sector is a big part of what we do at CORE, so it was only natural that we would want to support this initiative”, says CORE Education IT Manager Glen Davies.
