About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Te Aho Māori | Waihanga team. If you have experience and a passion for managing diverse kaupapa Māori projects then we would love to hear from you. 

Some key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Project manage the development of products to quality time and budget expectations   
  • Building relationships internally and externally with project teams, clients and stakeholders
  • Commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi, working in partnership and Te Aho Tapu
  • Commitment to modelling principles of Tātai Aho Rau and CORE’s values - manaakitanga, whānaungatanga, wairuatanga and kaitiakitanga 

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in managing diverse project teams to deliver client products particularly in kaupapa Māori education 
  • Proficiency in both written and oral te reo Māori and English
  • Knowledge of publishing/ development processes to deliver digital and/or print products 
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape in education
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced role, juggling multiple deadlines
  • Proactive and able to use initiative both internally and with our clients 
  • Agile, with the ability to work flexibly when required
  • The ability to work in a culturally responsive manner is a requirement. The successful applicant will work within the company’s framework –Tātai Aho Rau.
