He moana pukepuke e ekengia e te waka.

A choppy sea can be navigated.

We hope you and your whānau are safe and well and taking care of each other.

The Ministry of Education are encouraging schools and kura to switch already contracted locally-focused PLD hours to support for distance learning if you want to.

Access our team's expertise in 3 ways:

1. Switch existing hours

If you have already contracted hours to work with a CORE facilitator, and you'd like to switch the focus of your PLD, you can either:

2. Apply for Covid-19 distance learning support

The Covid-19 Distance Learning Support package from the Ministry of Education is designed to help schools transition to distance learning at home.

Please email pld.enquiries@education.govt.nz saying you want to work with CORE.

3. Personalise PLD support

If you would like to work with our specialist facilitators in virtual and distance learning, please contact Janelle or Greg below, or email learning@core-ed.ac.nz

Our teams are ready with creative ways to work with you across a range of learning environments and communities, including bilingual and total immersion reo Māori settings.

Useful Information

In the coming days and weeks we will provide more useful information, tips and advice for schools, kura and centres and add it to this page to support you to transition to distance learning.
