Board changes for 2021
Two new non-executive directors, Dr Jo Cribb and Tiumalu Peter Fa’afiu, have been appointed to the board of CORE Education for a term starting on 1 January 2021.
Dr Jo Cribb has a PhD in public policy and a background in public service leadership roles – most recently as Chair Executive of the Ministry for Women, and Deputy Children’s Commissioner. She is an experienced director with more than 20 years’ service on NGO boards, such as her current governance roles with Literacy Aotearoa and UN Women in Aotearoa.
Tiumalu Peter Fa’afiu is a former diplomat and trade negotiator.
He has served as the Interim CEO andGM Corporate Affairs of the Tamaki Regeneration Company. Other governance roles include Global Director of Amnesty International Limited and Chair of the Pacific Media Network. Peter currently co-owns the management consultancy Navigator Limited.
Chris Mene and Kaila Colbin finish their terms on the CORE Board at the end of 2020. They have been directors since the beginning of 2013 and 2014 respectively.
