Ash (Samoan/Indian) is a visual storyteller. He has worked on a number of productions in film, commercial, and public media in the form of animation, video and VFX.
Ash released an animation short (funded by Like Minds Like Mine) which he wrote, directed and animated called Mum’s Voices. It is a story about a Samoan boy and his experience with his mother who lives with schizophrenia. As a story personal to Ash, the project aims to raise awareness and build empathy for those who live with schizophrenia.
As a bicultural millennial Ash likes to weave in his Pasifika and Indian culture through his content and the way he works. He has the utmost respect for the creatives he works with and believes in having a collaborative approach when working with both talent and crew.
