Coaching and mentoring example scenario 1

Simon is in his first year as principal of Kiwi School. He is struggling to understand the leadership role, and, due to changes that are happening within the school, keeps missing the compliance deadlines. He does a search online and comes across CORE's coaching and mentoring programme, with a focus on leadership. Once he starts the sessions, Simon discovers he really likes the fact the sessions are virtual and fit in with his busy schedule. Also, his coach provides him with resources that are specific to his needs, while helping him contextualise what he is learning, and providing him with an outside perspective.
