In Games-based learning practice (part 1), participants discover the what, how and why of game-based learning practice. They acquire hands-on game design and coding skills, and develop their position on what constitutes effective game-based learning. Part 2 is the opportunity to put those new skills into practice. Participants will lead or support a game-based learning initiative in their learning community, within a teaching as inquiry framework.

By the end of this online programme, you will have led or supported a game-based learning initiative in your learning community. 

Who is this for?

This online programme is for all educators and leaders who are interested in integrating game-based learning into their learning environment. Some previous coding experience is required, and it is recommended participants first complete the Games-based learning practice (part 1) programme.

Programme format

This 9 week programme is supported by online activities. Webinars are able to be held as required. Suitable for group or individual study.

This programme is held online, with participants connecting with facilitators in regular webinars and forums to discuss and share learning.
