The Educators’ Wellbeing Toolkit enables all members of staff to take a proactive approach to their own health and wellbeing by learning how to develop mindsets and behaviours to support themselves through challenging situations. Utilising practical approaches, the framework and resources assist participants to develop greater awareness of their own hauora (wellbeing) and build strategies to support them in all aspects of their lives.
Two key aims of the programme are:
The Wellbeing Toolkit does not set out to provide clinical or remedial support. Importantly, the programme will reference a range of support services where teachers and learning communities seek or require specific and in-depth interventions. Those who identify that they may require additional support, or want to engage in a deeper developmental process, will be provided details of appropriate services.
