Schools with good social capital agree that it takes buy-in and commitment from all staff to improve overall wellbeing within the school/centre. By opting to undertake the Wellbeing Toolkit your school/centre is demonstrating its commitment to starting an open and productive dialogue around wellbeing, and to do this effectively they need your involvement and input.
The Wellbeing Toolkit is a platform to support five group discussions around staff health and wellbeing. Staff are required to attend five 1-hour sessions in order to contribute to these discussions. These sessions can be held during existing staff meeting times to minimise the impact on staff workloads. All participants have access to a set of tools and resources to support their personal wellbeing and can engage with these at any time convenient to themselves.
The Wellbeing Toolkit includes completing a simple survey used to assess social capital within the school. Responding to this survey should take no more than 5 minutes and all responses are anonymous. There are no assessments required, however, participants can choose to spend their own time looking through the online resources if they would like to.
