The structure of CORE’s professional development programmes may include a combination of:

  • Centre visits – A facilitator will visit you in your own centre to support you and your teaching team to progress goals.
  • Cluster meetings/workshops – Network with and learn alongside other services to share common focus and learning.
  • Seminars/hui/talanoa fono – Join other participants over a full day to strengthen understandings and capabilities in relation to specific focus areas.
  • Individual mentoring and support/faufautua – Have the guidance and support of a facilitator as you inquire into and reflect on your own professional practice.
  • Online components – Participate in an online learning environment and maintain ongoing contact with facilitators.

Provision of these professional development programmes is cost free to licensed ECE services. Some programme components may require release time in order for staff to participate fully in their chosen programme. Services are responsible for this investment.
