About the Role

We have an opportunity for a highly organised events specialist, with a focus on managing events to the education sector, to join our te Tiriti honouring organisation. 

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating events (virtual and face-to-face) supporting both the Senior Events Specialist and Product Managers. This role is best suited to someone who can manage large multi-faceted events, work their magic with partners and exhibitors, whilst implementing best-practice events knowledge.

You will be passionate about all aspects of event management, demonstrating both leadership and ability to execute the details.  

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Planning and coordinating events for CORE Education

  • Utilising event platforms for registrations and delivery

  • Executing exceptional end to end customer event experiences

  • Applying quality assurance and risk management processes

  • Providing regular reporting the performance of event registrations to stakeholders

  • Building and managing key relationships including optimising partnerships, sponsorships and exhibitors across the range of CORE events

  • Be agile, proactive and a strong team player

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a similar events role

  • Experience with both virtual and face-to-face events

  • Experience working with partners, sponsors and exhibitors in an events context

  • Demonstrable technical skills across events platforms and tools 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural organisation
