Professional profile
Fiona has a background in project management, writing, editing, and marketing in education and other sectors. Since joining Tātai Aho Rau Core Education, she has managed several projects to support the Creatives in Schools programme. She has worked on curriculum support websites – Te Whāriki Online and Technology Online.
She has also helped facilitate a games-based learning practice online programme, is part of the Universal Design for Learning Tātai Aho Rau team, and assisted in collating data for a wellbeing in early childhood report. The writing projects she has worked on are varied in topic including education, science, technology, and food. She has written for print, web, and video.

I like writing to provide inspiration for others. It may be through understanding a new concept, a new cultural worldview, or thinking about a subject in a new way. I love it when a well written piece makes a difference to the reader.
