Shannon Aldridge is an accomplished content professional with extensive experience developing online content. She has previously worked with international businesses, creating website content for multicultural audiences.

With a passion for copywriting and brand strategy, she has worked with a variety of companies in the technology, finance, education and non-profit sectors. 

Shannon is passionate about seeing te reo Māori integrated into an online space, whether that is empowering businesses to use te reo in their online content, empowering educators to create an equitable learning environment or creating an opportunity for individuals to learn and develop their cultural awareness and understanding. 

She is a skilled writer, communicator and collaborator, with a Bachelor's degree in Arts (English and Linguistics) from the University of Otago, Journalism Diploma through Aoraki Polytechnic and TESOL Certification.

I am passionate about impactful content creation and copywriting, I believe that words have the power to shape and influence the world around us. Thus I strive to create quality content, that is honouring and valuable to a large audience. I am deeply committed to promoting equitable thinking and creating te reo Māori learning opportunities in Aotearoa.

Through my work as a content marketing specialist I have the opportunity to work collaboratively to create informative, thought provoking content, that helps to extend the reach of CORE’s highly valuable resources, programmes and thinking.
