Dedicated to supporting professional learning and development, our Early Years team works within the early learning sector and beyond.

They are closely connected to practice with tamariki and skilled in facilitation of professional development for kaiako.

With deep knowledge of Te Whāriki (2017), and experience working with Kāhui Ako, our team work alongside educators across Aotearoa.

We can support kaiako and leaders in early learning to:

Strengthen cultural capability

  • Enacting CORE’s vision for equity through learning, dismantling barriers to participation
  • All practice supported with te ao Māori perspectives, and a Tiriti-honouring, bicultural approach
  • Supporting identities, languages and cultures
  • Collaboration with whānau and community
  • Inclusive and responsive practice that acknowledges diversity
  • Strong connections and established relationships with Pacific communities

Grow leadership practice

  • An early years cohort of the Advanced Leadership programme is offered annually
  • He Waka Unua, make meaningful change in your professional and personal life with personalised coaching and mentoring
  • Support to progress towards full registration

Design local curriculum
