Under this model PLD focuses on building equity and excellence through focusing on a small number of national priority areas. Locally-focused PLD must be delivered by facilitators who have been through a rigorous accreditation process established by the Ministry of Education. CORE has over 60 accredited facilitators delivering professional learning and development across English and Māori-medium settings.
