Financial literacy for kura and schools

Financial literacy has been in The New Zealand Curriculum in a formalised way since 2007

We worked with the (then) Commission for Financial Capability (CFFC) and the Ministry of Education to write the Financial Capability Progressions

Since 2016, Tātai Aho Rau has worked with Te Ara Ahunga Ora | Office of the Retirement Commission to create learning curriculum resources for teachers and students from years 7-13, for both English schools and Kaupapa Māori.

This includes learning and assessment resources for NCEA financial capability Unit Standards which comprised of: videos, infographics, interactive media and online learning modules. We also designed and delivered a package specifically for Pacific learners
