The Role of ICTs in Personalising Learning

Debates around the role of ICTs in personalising learning will dominate the government’s personalising learning strategy. Views will be polarised around those who regard this as a return to the Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) days of the 1980s with an emphasis on choice paths and intelligent tutoring systems etc, to those who are fearful of a state of educational anarchy with students making all the decisions about what, where and how they learn.
