What are some similarities and differences between reo Māori, Samoan, and Tuvaluan?

In this podcast Lena, Pesetā and Gareth compare notes on their three languages - te reo Māori, Samoan and Tuvalu. They translate some sample words and sentences and ask 'is this the same, similar or different?' For example we all use an 'f' sound for the number four - whā (Māori), fā (Samoa) and fā (Tuvalu). 

Through this kōrero, we learn a lot about the connections between our languages including a few loan words, and how our languages change according to our relationships and different situations.
