Hollie Smith, award winning artist and one of Aotearoa's most recognizable voices of the 21st century

In the early 2000's, Hollie Smith emerged as a solo artist within Wellington. Now, she is an acclaimed artist who has collaborated with several Aotearoa artists and groups, as well as continuing her successful solo career.

In this podcast Hollie details her unique experiences surrounding te ao Māori, including her touring with Trinity Roots, and how these experiences shaped her view and appreciation of Māori culture and language. This podcast also includes Hollie performing some of her iconic waiata.
