She brings a wealth of experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-stakes projects for government, NGOs, and private sector clients.
With a deep understanding of the national curriculum—including Te Whāriki, the New Zealand Curriculum, and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa—Kirsty’s work is grounded in the unique cultural context of Aotearoa. Her expertise spans the education, health, and arts sectors, where she has successfully delivered resources in English, te reo Māori, and Pacific and community languages.
Before joining Tātai Aho Rau, Kirsty held senior management positions at the Ministry of Education and executive leadership roles at Learning Media. This background allows her to navigate dynamic political environments with ease, having delivered high-profile ministerial priorities in areas such as literacy, maths, and learning support.
Kirsty is a champion of user-centred design, ensuring that every resource meets the specific needs of the end-user while fulfilling strategic client goals.
