Collaboration framework

Using this framework, learning communities can review their collaborative practices in order to improve outcomes for their ākonga

Who benefits from this self-review tool?

Tātai Aho Rau Core Education's Collaboration Framework supports learning communities to evaluate their position and inform their progress as a group.

This Collaboration Framework caters for any group of schools, kura and early childhood services that are working together – across leaders, tumuaki, kaiako, teachers, iwi, communities, whānau and ākonga.

The Framework can be used as a formative self-review tool to help groups identify:

  • what effective collaboration that makes a difference for learners looks like
  • next steps towards becoming a more effective collaborative group
  • a way of monitoring progress towards the collaborative state.

By identifying the above, groups can work to improve outcomes for their ākonga.
